What is a supplement facts panel?

A supplement facts panel is the mandatory FDA nutritional label for dietary supplements sold in the United States. Unlike the "Nutrition Facts" label used for conventional foods, the supplement facts panel is governed by 21 CFR Part 101.36 and must list serving size, servings per container, each dietary ingredient with its amount per serving, and the percent of the Daily Value (% DV) where applicable.

Any product sold as a dietary supplement — vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, probiotics, and meal-replacement powders — must include a supplement facts panel on its label.

FDA requirements for supplement facts panels

This tool helps you visualize your supplement facts panel. Always verify your final label with a qualified regulatory consultant or the FDA guidelines before going to print.

Is this tool free?

Yes, completely free with no account required. You can generate and download as many panels as you need.

Can I use the downloaded files for my product label?

You can use the files as a starting point or visual reference. Always verify your label with an FDA regulatory expert before printing for commercial use.

What format should I download?

Download SVG if you need to import the panel into a design tool (Illustrator, Figma, InDesign) for further editing or if it will appear on packaging at various sizes. Download PNG for direct use in documents, presentations, or digital assets — it exports at 2× resolution (retina-quality).

Does the tool support all FDA supplement facts requirements?

The tool renders the key structural elements of an FDA supplement facts panel. Font sizes, proportions, and layout follow FDA guidance. For precise compliance review, always consult the FDA's Guidance for Industry: A Dietary Supplement Labeling Guide.
